Who's healing who?I just called one of my clients regarding an appointment for a chemical dependency evaluation . . . one required by the Department of Corrections as a condition of his probation. I got his voice mail, and it went a little something like this:
"Hi, this is [Client's Name], Chief Trainer and Therapist for [xyz company]. I'm away from my office right now, but leave a message and I'll get back to you quickly. Thanks."Ummmmm, office . . . right. I actually visited him in his "office" about a month ago. We had to talk on a telephone, looking at each other through a wall of glass. He was dressed in a snappy red jumpsuit.
